About me: I am a mom of boys and enjoy teaching them different things about life. I was born in Haiti and came to U.S. at the age of ten. I was taught how to cook authentic Haitian food by some of the women in my family and I feel blessed to have that knowledge passed down to me. My past educational background is in graphic design and art education. A few years ago, I went back to school to become a dietitian nutritionist because I love to help others and educate about food and health investment.
I love being Haitian and wanted to find a way to contribute to my culture. After struggling to pass on the Haitian Creole to my kids while they were young, I decided to do something about it. I started on this journey of writing beginner Haitian Creole books for children and adults, in addition to other topics.
